Weather Events

These tables exist to give you some fun or interesting weather effects to enrich your journeys and challenges. To use them, just go to the table for the biome your characters are traveling through and roll a ten-sided die. You can also use the tables as pick lists, selecting weather that matches the mood and tone of the scene. You can also use these lists whenever you Change the Weather. You, of course, don’t have to use these if you don’t want to. The tables lean very hard on the weird and strange magical weather rather than more mundane things like rain, so if you’d rather portray a more grounded Ald-Amura, maybe stay clear of the Mirage Waves.

These describe the sort of basic, moderate version of the weather effect. If you want to imagine what the torrential equivalent of False-Night is, please feel free. Several of these effects have the same name; this is intentional, people name distinct things similarly in the real world all the time.
